Reducing Sexism and Violence Program
This coeducational program focuses on empowering and training middle and high school students as “bystanders” to effectively respond to and prevent bullying, interpersonal violence, and harassment. The training includes media literacy, values clarification exercises, and practical scenarios for safe and effective intervention.
“This year, more than any other, we have seen an increase in bystander interventions that have helped bring violent situations under control and an increased willingness to work with our administration to reduce and eliminate abuse and violence in our hallways.”
- Principal, Sacopee Valley High School
Community Conversations
Boys to Men sponsors events throughout the year that support parents and the larger community, nurturing the healthy, non-violent development of boys. We offer a bimonthly book club and a film series that explore the intersectionality of race, class, sexual orientation, and gender. We also host lectures and panel discussions featuring leading researchers and authors.
Custom Programs
Existing programs can be modified for specific audiences. Boys to Men also offers unique services such as curriculum consultation, public speaking, professional development and school climate assessment and action planning.
